This tour will take you to Celestun, one of the most important national parks in Mexico and one of more than 300 different kinds of birds, among them the Pink Flamingo.
Located 60 miles southwest of Mérida, this is a fishing village will you find a beautiful flamingos colonies, calm beaches, also a 36 foot tall lighthouses.
The mean to do here, is contract a boat to go to the Ria to see the flamingos a long a Celestun estuary while enjoying the incredible mangrover forest and all of its unique flora and fauna.
You will want to keep an eye out along the 0,5 miles ride for the Tricol Heron, the snowy Egret, the American Pink flamingo, the Pygmy Kingfisher and special for the occasional crocodile.
In the end of the tour we will drive to the restaurant where you will enjoy the best seafood in the area. |
