CONSEC'10, Scope

CONSEC conferences are focused on the discussion of problems and possible solutions regarding infrastructure subject to severe mechanical and environmental actions. Global warming is placing new sites under extreme severe conditions. Therefore, the main topic of this conference has worldwide attention, especially from the technical and scientific community. Even though the allocation of economical resources increases in one hand, on the other hand the use of materials from non-renewable sources is faster every day. For these reasons, topics as economy, life cycle, recycling, modeling, sustainability, global warming effects and emerging fields take particular importance in addition to previous topics from last CONSEC’s. The following is a list of the conference themes and topics, although any other topics related  with the conference objective will be accepted.
